"I wrote this track for a fitness music compilation that never came out, so I decided to return the tune to our home label of Soul Clap Records, where our first Soul Clap release, FSQ's 'Zulu Congo Call' came out exactly 10 years ago this week. Ironically I was out of shape and overweight when I wrote the track with FSQ's One Era in 2022. I tried to imagine what fitness coaches would say to motivate their clients. The track has taken on a whole new meaning since I started eating healthy, running, swimming, biking and lifting weights. I am indeed 'Freaking Out For Fitness' now and I hope other DJs, producers and clubgoers find motivation and inspiration to do the same." - Chuck Da Fonk, chez FSQ

A set of motivational fitness instructors from across the globe lead you through this sweaty six-minute audio workout, which closes out with talk box and guitar solos that simultaneously give the 1980s vibes of a hit electro 12" and a big music video from a LA hairband. On the cut, sizzling arpeggios and silky synthesizer stabs are set against angular guitar lines and hyper percussive drum fills.

The instrumental version of 'Freak Out For Fitness' fits in perfectly as a DJ weapon in any high energy Italo Disco set. It's also the supreme soundtrack for any action sports video.
